Gollum said he was angry w/ God because he made Satan make the journey thru harsh places in Middle Earth. Asked him if he knew Satan & he said yes he did. I then replied if God would send Mary thru the same journey does that mean he loves Satan any less? He did not ask anything less of Mary than he did of Satan. We all know he loved Mary, he may be angry with Satan but that doesn't mean he doesn't love him. Confusing as the era was B.C. after all so a passage in time was necessary.
