| donpohlino, good and valid point taken. Using what you have just said, then I can, without problems, say that Gadd is an awful drummer (in my opinion, of course). I find his drumming unsophisticated, he bulshits all the way through his drumming, he is unconvincing and his drums sound awful. I stick to my own previous opinios, Gadd should not have been there with Weckl and Caloiuta |

| Yes, you may remind, but not necessarily convince. Of course Gadd influenced all his juniors, like YOU, ME and invariably Weckl and Vinni when they were starting. That does not mean he is on the same level of Weckl and Vinnie. He is obviously good but not as !! That's all I said initially. |

| Holy shit. That was fucking awesome. I'd have to say though - this kind of set up isn't Gadd's strong area. I'd have to say about even with Dave and Vinnie though. Weckl took it in the beginning, but Vinnie's last few were epic. |

| There's no use in doubting the talent or capacities of these three guys. Of course there incredibly good. It's just my taste, and it sounds to me that Weckl and Gadd are playing in the style while Colaiuta is playing on his own. And so I'm not saying his worse than the other two, but just in this piece of music I like the other two more. |

| At least you're civilized, not like that french sounding idiot above you. Who do I think should have been up there instead of Gadd ? You misunderstood me. He might be the third most creative drummer in the world right now but all I said is that the other two are so superior to him that if he is there then he is below them. I can't believe that people do not appreciate Weckl the way he really should be appreciated. That guy isn't a drummer. He is a genius! I can fault any drummer. I can't him. |

| I have listened to Gadd a lot. He is very good. I've also listened to the other two and my conclusion remains. Although Vinnie and Gadd are good, Weckl is an under-rated genius. Anyone who plays drums and I suspect all of us here do, knows how difficult it is to be original and creative all the time. To me a solo is your soul coming out of you. So how Gadd could have his drums there sounding that bad puzzles me. |

| Maybe I used the wrong terms. I mean to say that Weckl is impeccable in his originality anda creativity, technique, diversity. That's what a genius is to me. Gadd's drumming bores me after awhile and I suspect Vinnie would too. I can listen to Weckl all day. |

| I never said he wasnt, i asked... "what the hell???" Im not a drummer, im a singer, and i might have heard wrong, but it sounded like he was doing roughly the same things each time. I only said that i think i know drum offs... although i prolly dont. and i gave an opinion, I most certainly didnt trash it intentionally {if i did at all, im not sure about that}. I know they are all excellent drummers, but it really did seem like Colaiuta didnt have cthe control the others had. |
