I pulled a semi with trailer up a hill in California with a Monster truck Toyota that I was driving for work. Of course the semi was trying at the same time. Used a logger chain, 4wheel drive low, in Reverse. Wrecker Truck couldn't get by semi was stuck on a corner.

I wouldn't even consider buying a Mitsubishi or Daihatsu or the rest of the bottom of the barrel Japanese cars. Toyota is overrated but still a fairly good vehicle. Honda is like a slightly cheaper Toyota and Nissan is on the bubble. As for the rest of the Japanese auto makers they ride on the coat-tails of Toyota/Honda Japanese "quality" BS. The quality ratings for the rest of the J-makers are pretty bad.

natewjones- I am very sorry that your numbed senses have been disturbed, but check JD Power and Associates and there we can see the likes of Suzuki, Subaru, Nissan, & Mitsubishi ranked lower than some of your American vehicles such as Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Buick, Cadillac even Chevy and GM.
BTW Dodge sucks and I question Chevy too.
All I'm trying to do is show the world the myth of "quality" Japanese vehicle. Few are good but the rest are average at best.
