Wow, These clips are great! I was going into high school when these guys came out. The one episode that I strongly remember is Dino's kitchen where he made spaghetti with his feet. If you every find that one, let us know.

Holly crap. I stood in that line and auditioned back then. If I knew it was going to be this lame I would've driven home. Jeez. I think the guys they picked would've done alright if they hadn't made it so blatantly packaged, fake and sanitized. It's like they never got to perform any dialogue, just say your line and cut to the next guy.

I love The Monkees (and it's the source of my user name). But to see a clip of them on this monstrocity is wrong. This is the worst thing committed to film EVER.

I love the Monkees as well, BUT to claim that this was "the worst thing committed to film EVER" only leads me to believe that you haven't seen that much shot on film. Now that's only a guess seeing that you are most likely from the MTV generation and are used to seeing things shot on video :)

You're absolutely right. I've spent my entire 27 years living in a cave, only coming out to occasionally wave my club in fear at the shiny ball in the sky. Give me a break. I don't feel the need to list my wide range of cinematic/television interests, but I continue to stand by my statement that this is the worst thing committed to film EVER...save, of course, for the short-lived series "What a Dummy!"

This is the first time I saw any of the "New Monkees" anything. I am with ardalsgirl. "We don't want NEW Monkees." We are quite satisfied with the old ones. Ya can't replace 'em, sorry. It was a nice try though... I think.

I remember the "New Monkees" slightly. I have the tape that they did...The music was good and Larry was Hot! But, then again, I was like 16 or 17. However, I never understood the show at all. I'll stick with Davy, Mickey, Peter, and Michael. Thank you!
