Played it and WoW - if this had come out before WoW it would have the player base that WoW has in my opinion - Played and quit both, I love the music system in LOTRO - other than that, it sucks.

If this game is such a 'WoW Wannabe,' then why do people hate it so much? o.O I guess they must hate WoW too.. though they just kid themselves inside. Anyways, my opinion? This game has everything WoW has, and more besides the pvp. WoW has NO storyline whatsoever besides it's little chain quests, which this game also has besides the actual storyline quests/instances. One thing that I'm glad LOTRO doesn't have? Dwarf women. *SNICKERS LOUDLY*

Oh and don't be deceived by the graphics in this video people, by the looks of it he has all settings on low.. most likely cuz' of fraps. Anyways, loved the Aeris' theme lol something about the way Bree looks with this theme reminded me of Nibelheim.. or Kalm xD

LOTRO>WoW for too many reasons to list. The only reason that of the 37 people I've talked to with lvl 70 characters on WoW 12 of them still play WoW is that they do nothing but PvP and for that one thing WoW is superior. LOTRO has PvP, but it is not the focus of the game and that coupled with a primarily adult population, better graphics, and a much easier and less time consuming levelling process makes for a lot more enjoyable game.
