I know this says for men only, but I was intrigued. And I want to say that as a woman, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. So many of my male friends get treated like crap by women because women have a preconception that men should sacrifice everything for them. My boyfriend spent the first few months of our relationship scared to ever do anything that I might dislike. bill122460, this was absolutely awesome. You brought up so many important facts which represent the reality behind why so many guys are having trouble. Bottom line, guys are afraid to lose the girl, and the girls know this and use it to their advantage. So, guys start acting like "nice guys" (aka wimps) and do everything they can to accomodate her and avoid confrontation. Guys who stand their ground (self-esteem) and are willing to walk away (confidence), are the ones who succeed with women.

You're right, I've seen it all over tv. Today, women are working and trying to have a family, too. Since men are viewed as incapable of raising kids, women are doing it all and the man is useless. It's not just about being wimpy, it's also in the way we treat each other. United we will stand, divided we fall, and we have turned against each other and fallen. We fight and hate each other, put each other down and hurt each other. Women get along better than we do, which is why they win.

Why is it that the man is always the one who has to get the girl?, the one who gets his heart broken if he is rejected or dumped? You never have women in the media who are heart-broken, or who are rejected. Are there no women who have ever been rejected? I don't know if women get along better (they can be catty) than men do, but they are more unified. Look at Lifetime and WE networks. They're full of anti-male movies. Men are portrayed as psychos stalkers, rapists, perverts, wife abusers, etc. The only "nice" guys in these movies who try to help the women get killed by the men listed above. So the nice-guy-as-wimp stereotype is reinforced.
The women band together in these movies to defeat the psycho.
