Actually, if you look at it, they did. Most of the things that they say, they created first. Microsoft has been trying to copy Mac for quite some time now. For example, iMovie (1999)= Windows Movie Maker (2001); iPhoto (2002)= Windows Photo Gallery (2007); Mail (~2001)=Windows Mail and so on.

I honestly cannot believe how stupid and uninformed people really are. Bill Gates now "came up with the idea of the GUI"? Please tell me you are not serious and you are just trying to get people to respond. First, Douglas Engelbart "came up with the idea of the GUI". Second, If Gates thought of it and Jobs thought it was a "bad" idea, how did the Lisa and Mac come out BEFORE Windows? You better do some research there but. You are making yourself look VERY stupid!

hey, Mac implemented Graphic User interface. While MS still had MS-DOS. Then Bill gates created a program called "Windows" that was used as a GUI for MSDOS. All this copying the Mac GUI. This was, to make people using MSDOS feel like they are using a MAC
