Hi threeblackpeas. I am about 99% sure that Valerie passed away. I heard this about a couple years back. If I find more concrete evidence, I'll let you know, but I'm pretty certain she passed. I know Kiki did too, but I heard Valerie did as well. I feel bad since you knew here personally. I'll write you back after looking into it more.

Gift is an obscure video using various concert footage of JA mixed with a bizarre story of this girl dying- its not real. This was during the band's heyday- many of the bands songs consent to heroin inspiration- Im not advocating it but if thats what it takes to create a world like this so be it.
