dude, it's like a concept album basicly. a political satyr concept album, and i hapen to agree that teens have been overmedicated by a society of parents that dont care about actually care about fixing their childerens problems so the just take the easy out by doping up their kids, to the point that the kids dont even become people anymore

Disagree! The lyrics are a good critique/observation on the over commercialization of our lifestyle. The wording is certainly premeditated and very well thought out.

i dont think so but its a 7.38min song so its a short version of the song... you get a full length video of fear of a black planet(song) and anesthetize(my fav PT song) on the DVDA as well as 5.1 surround sound

i definitely agree. i thought i was the only one that noticed the material was a bit awkward at times. i love the band, but they got their message across just fine -- no need to diminish the quality of good songwriting.

Most of the album is about a childs or an young guy/girl point of fiew. There is nothing youth-friendly about that. The lyrics just point a lot of things that the younger generation is going trough these days. Or something like that... :/ shit...

The theme of the album is based on a book by Bret Easton Ellis called "Lunar Park". The book focuses on the story through the fathers point-of-view, where FOABP shows us the story through the sons point-of-view.

Excellent song and video. The girl in it is hot, albiet emo/goth whatever you wanna call it, but that even if she is emo/goth that doesn't mean the music is. You shouldn'y define music to what you SEE in it... It just doesn't make sense.
