Wonderful. Terrific. Miraculous? If my chain-smoking, black-toothed, grunting Neanderthal Uncle would wake up one day and be able to play this the way Chang does that would be truly miraculous. LOL.

You don't know my mobster Uncle. You're not even comprehending my little joke. If he could play this that would be a miracle, miraculous. Sarah Chang has worked her entire life to do this so it is not miraculous.

As a weapons manufacturer and multi-millionaire you've got to have a sense of humor. And by the way our beloved Sarah has a very rudimentary sense of humor when she's not loving the masses with her violin. It is a very poignant contrast.

My dad was a professional violinist for over 50 years and this was his signature piece, one that he played a lot. It's always been my favorite and one that really brings back memories of growing up with a violinist for a dad. His last performance was at my baptism July 31, 2005 and this is the piece he played. Sadly, he passed away July 12, 2006 from Esophageal Cancer, but his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those whose lives he touched with music.
