Youtube rocks. No way to see Ron speak anywhere else! WHY is that? Listen to as much as you can and you decide. He is an author, a Congressman, and a Doctor, (in the Air Force and in a private practice) and certainly NOT a nut.
People who care ... ( 5 months ago by Sid3600)
People who care about principles 'n not just the usual politic, please research all the candidates and vote. This is the 1st time I bother to donate and register to vote because of RP.
A person like RP may come once in every 100 years. RP is a sincere and honest candidate who speaks like it is, not like the other typical candidates with just sound good and empty promise. I got 2 more persons to vote for RP after telling them do their own research and decide on their own. No need
to preach
Well she'll be the ... ( 5 months ago by Tesselator)
Well she'll be the representative of that rule. Same difference to me! A person like Hillary will welcome and wield that power. A person like Ron Paul will try very hard to shut it down and/or neuter it. The presidency (thanks to Bush and his neo-con twit buddies, already holds potential dictatorial (dictator) powers. Hillary will no doubt use them!
Well Ron Paul is ... ( 5 months ago by ynnyytty)
Well Ron Paul is the only major candidate that is not ruled by the establishment. Making him a great threat to the establishment. That's why the media is ignoring him. But you are absolutely correct when you say that the other candidates love power over other peoples lives, while Ron Paul is a sensible leader. The other candidates have sold them out to big business and the establishment, they make the rules and the president follows them. We need Ron Paul and we demand liberty.
Damn straight! But ... ( 5 months ago by Tesselator)
Damn straight! But only demanding it and doing nothing for it isn't going to get us very far. In fact it will bring on a police state (martial law) quicker than you can "Hillary stole the election". We need to take action! We need to INSIST on overseeing the election procedures! We need to INSIST on recounts when needed! We need to register republican and SHOW UP at the caucuses and conventions! If we don't DO IT we WILL have Hillary next year. :(
if you've watched ... ( 5 months ago by ironicallyenough)
if you've watched all the ron paul videos like I have for the past 8 months or so, you've probably noticed how visibly tired and weak Paul has become over the past month or so. I hope that all of this campaigning isn't too draining on him. Maybe he needs to change his diet and get more exercise! Lol but look how spunky he is in this video compared to how he is when he speaks now.
If we don't ... ( 5 months ago by ynnyytty)
If we don't exercise our rights they will fade out and be replaced by tyranny. Too many times in history, great nations and people have willingly gone into tyranny and now we are seeing it happen here. After 911 our great nation founded on liberty and personal freedom has been put under enormous attack by the establishment and it has resulted in surveillance, torture, economic depression, war and destroying of the constitution. It's a shame people think a Democrat will fix it. We need Paul.
My point is that ... ( 5 months ago by ynnyytty)
My point is that people all around the USA have the impression that all the problems faced with the Bush administration will be fixed by Hillary or Obama. Most people have totally lost their trust in the republican party and I don't blame them. All the candidates in the republican party want more war and tyranny. Hillary is run by the same people and organizations as Bush is, they just deal with the PR differently and they stand differently on small issues that don't really matter.
I like your 1st ... ( 5 months ago by Tesselator)
I like your 1st point allot! It's right on the money. But the second point is maybe incorrect. As I see things it just doesn't matter what people think or how they vote. The elections are rigged! That's my point. We need to force a situation where we get to oversee them at EVERY stage. Of course no one sane or awake wants Hitlery to win. But it's in the works. They're going to rig it so that it looks like a close race between Hitlery and McCain with Hitlery as the eventual winner.

If you've watched all of the candidates like I have, they all look tired. At this point in time, if you are not tired, you are either not working hard or are ready to drop out. Go Ron Paul (From a person who changed from Democrat to Ron Paul supporter)

Ron Paul: "I used to be a Barack Obama supporter; now I'm a Ron Paul supporter." Cool. I hope that when the time comes he'll publicly endorse Obama.

Great job taking that out of context. He was talking about how some democrats have switched. He was quoting a guy who said that. I won't completely bash you because it is hard to discern the difference, but come on.

I think he should watch where his food comes from, too. He is a real threat to "the cause" and I am sure they are going to try everything to mess him up.

Lol, yeah, but only a quote. If it were to happen, at least we will know who he will support if he drops out.
Totalitarianism, ... ( 5 months ago by NufffSaid)
Totalitarianism, with two descriptions, is the best word to describe where Bush and his cabinet are trying to position themselves; (1. A form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator; Not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.)With Bush having the Patriot Act to grant himself unrestricted power in matters of, or perceived to be a national security threat.(2.The principle of complete and unrestricted power in government.)I should say more?

I would bet every penny I have that Ron will not support any of the current candidates. MAYBE, just MAYBE Huckabee, but they are all WAY too "big government" for him to support. Especially Obama.

I'll take Ron Paul's stand and probably will not vote in the general election. My allegiance remains solid to conservative, Christian ideals, not to the Republican Party. The Party system is very similar to a brothel and either way the election boils down, a liberal will be in the Whitehouse. Obama will not pull out of Iraq- he has already backpeddled... completely ignored by the media. Oh well.

I love the way he answers without fear, the only honest politician. I will write him in if I need to and I encourage everyone else to do the same. I truly feel he is our only hope to create a just society, one that values all peoples. Ron Paul 08

I'm curious about one thing. When someone talks about returning to a national gold standard, why is it that the response is a "return to the dark ages"?
What's so strange about backing and maintaining money with a set stable value so it can't be inflated?
