To those who say people in London just stand there watching,stiff as bricks whereas sydney parties,maybe its because of two things 1)its winter and therefore cold (like to see how you aussies would cope under same conditions,probs wouldn't even leave your house), 2) our fireworks are actually worth watching and therefore we don't need to have a party instead.Seems to me you Aussies can't accept that us Brits have proved yet again that whatever you do, we can do better.London wins hand down!

The dickheads running the London show will never get it right.70 percent of the people that turned up were stopped by the police from going anywhere near the river and were left milling around between the buildings in the surrounding streets, up and down the Strand, Trafalgar Square (to watch on a screen)etc. Load of shite.

when the fireworks was finished. We trapped in 75,000 people we can get out there. It tooks an hour before we get through to the tube station. Fabulous experienced! Happy New year all........!
