I have loved this song from the time it came out. It certainly brings back memories of senior year in high school, especially as it first entered the Hot 100 the first week of senior year and stayed in the Hot 100 for 40 weeks, finally falling off the chart the week after graduation.

My high school girlfriend I saw at our 20 year class reunion six years ago who is happily married with four kids and at 38 , did not look a day older than when she was 18 .
