Por favor, can we try this idea on just to see how it feels? Personal feelings for just the few who takes this song to their heart and the personal 'knowing' that we are His. Bought and paid for by His sacrifice. This is the higher meaning for me and that so few others. How did we get so far from grace that we can't feel our Lord and Savior in nothing we sing, hear and see anymore? Glorifying the created more than the Creator of all things? I'm grateful that someone was moved enough to post it.
