| No, it doesn't have a mind of its own. It could be remote-controlled or programmed to walk a certain distance in one direction, then turn and whatnot. It can't decide for itself where to go. |

| ...or not. Tanks is heavy enough as it is, putting the same (or more) weight on an ever smaller area would be extremely stupid. The robot would sink into the ground. It would also be worthless from a tactical view, since the mecha would be much taller than a tank. |

| As many have said before, it does not have an advanced AI. Everything in this video is preprogrammed. It can move up stairs, sure, but it doesn't know where it is (it has no real sense of the surrondings - it's more or less blinded). It's speech capabilites are also very limited (a few preprogrammed sentences). |

| That is sooo cute!!! I love robots, and I hope that I live to see when robots like this become household objects...although that probably won't be for a long time - and they will be rather costly, or so I would imagine... go asimo! |
