... and one word to ... ( 1 week ago by shanghaijoachim)
... and one word to your "epistemological method". There is a difference in believing and knowing. No need to "verifying everything first hand", as human knowledge (which is limited) has its "safe zone" which simply is accepted as "fact". By the knowledge generating cycle of observation, theory, hypothesis, experiment, adapt. of t theory, a progress of human knowledge takes place. For me, there is no need to jump from a skyscraper to verify that I am potentially dead, when hitting the ground.

This is exactly what the growing world needs. Most people want change not just because of the environment but to prevent war over oil.

nice concept... but why do they always design them to look SO GAY?? I'd rather ride my bike than get caught riding in those ugly ass cars
... what most ... ( 1 week ago by shanghaijoachim)
... what most people need, but certainly do not get through this stupid cars, which firs of all is NOT a new invention, and secondly is NOT green or ecological and NOT a zero-emissions car. Only because there so many people badly wanting such a car, you find so many scammers and pseudo-scientific wannabe-inventors.

please explain why you think this isn't a "green" technology, Mr. Oxford English.

I see there's one troll throughout this thread doing his damnedest to convince everyone who'll bother to read his posts that this can't be real. "It can't be true!!!", he screams while simultaneously using such convincing terms as, "stupid" and "pseudo-". My question: Why can't it work? Compressed-Air technology isn't new. But the way Mr. Negre is using it IS. Which is why he was successful in obtaining PATENTS for his work. This has GREAT potential and I, for one, hope to be a customer.

we let GM burry the EV1. Im going to buy one and you guys spend many machos pesos in oil! So long Osammy...
I hated that ... ( 6 days ago by Gondee)
I hated that electric car deal. Sure it might be extra emissions or what ever they say. But that fuel plant making power for your house must then burn more coal. Stupid
We would be sitting ... ( 6 days ago by Fubieman)
We would be sitting pretty if the oil companies didn't kill the EV-1 I hear there is one in a museum and it was gutted so nobody could copy it. Hmmm didn't need oil and gas is $4.15 today.

Ethenol isn't better. Corn goes up, feed goes up, food goes up. We're screwed no matter what.
Well the deal is, ... ( 6 days ago by Schneebuddy)
Well the deal is, if you have the resources to produce alcohol, you can blend it 1:1 with your gas fuel and save money at the pump. At night you can also run a small generator on alcohol to charge your electric car if you please, or take it with you in a tank and, develop you own hybrid. You could also put a small alcohol engine in this air car once the technology has been developed.
There is a brewery ... ( 6 days ago by Schneebuddy)
There is a brewery in a town nearby which produces 100,000 gallons of alcohol/ month from the waste after the beer has been made. All you need is a heat source and, organic material which has a high sugar content, corn is just one crop, and by far not the best for alcohol.
You can buy the ... ( 6 days ago by Schneebuddy)
You can buy the alcohol if you please in fifty-five gallon barrels for around $2(USD) if you can not make you own here in the states.
There are actually ... ( 6 days ago by Schneebuddy)
There are actually many grasses, weeds, and pods which are used to produce alcohol which would never be used for feed.

Sure it is a pain right now but what about mass production, we really need to get off oil !!!!!!
Electric cars might ... ( 5 days ago by roomoleum)
Electric cars might be extra emissions? You're obviously a moron who is unable to understand what we are talking about. Also, burning coal isn't the only way to make electricity, nor is the electricity produced by it nearly as expensive as gasoline. I do prefer clean energy though, and agree that coal has got to go.
I agree with you! ... ( 4 days ago by christieeya)

People are soo very skeptical.
Not where I live in ... ( 2 days ago by chairde)
Not where I live in New Jersey. Our local company PSE$G produces electricity from the nuclear power plants in Salem, New Jersey. So your coal burning plants should go wind or nuclear and then it would make sense.

First thing: The ... ( 1 day ago by Sockmonkey666)
First thing: The emissions from a single power plant are far easier to controll than the emissions of thousands of individual intenal combustion engines.
Second thing: Fuel cell and battery powered electric vehicles need a lot of scarce materials like rare metals. We don't have enough to replace every car with an electric one. Third thing: Comprssed air motors are about as simple and idiot-proof as a motor can be and will almost never need repair.

It would be cool if it could be hooked up to one's arse and use phart gas for power.

I totally agree, they'll develop it really fast, and in no time, it's good enough to fully replace combustion engines!
