Also, its quite sad you have to use two fantastic people of mixed origin and a singular pope to showcase your nationalism. I'd like to remind you that he is the one responsible for completely ignoring the Sexual Abuse that was perpreteated by the Roman Catholics in the United States, and in Europe. r9tgokunks you're absolutley right when you say taht Battle of Viena was victory of Europe not Polish alone. Although don't forget that thouse international forces were leaded to battle by polish King Jan Sobieski who was elected as chief commander becouse he was the only sovereign ruler amongst all comanders and had biggest experience in fighting against Turks.

Żelazowa Wola in Poland grew up amongst poles speak polish as his motherlanguage and left Poland when he was already adult in november 1930 so he was much much more Polish than French

Besides, origin of his mother is not known and if she had a surname, that means she was a noble (as only the nobles had surnames at that time), but she wasn`t, so it`s bullshit with this surname. His father was merchant, who was tradeing with COPPER, that`s one of theories about origin of his surname (only nobles had surnames, "Kopernik" was a NICKname).
