| You look back to when PPV first started, and you had something special. They made PPV's very rare and special. They pumped info and rumors into the media. PPV's were so infrequent at first, that whenever a fight would go PPV there was IMMEDIATE interest. A fight used to do 400,000 PPV buys JUST because it was PPV, which is incredible. Now there are SEVERAL PPV's EVERY MONTH. Now instead of the old reaction to a PPV, the new reaction is, "oh god, yet another PPV, here we go again." |

| Exactly! prior to 1990 I don't remeber having the capability to buy PPV. People had to go see fights Closed Circuit like Tyson-Spinks 1988 and Arum tried it with DeLaHoya-ChavezI 1996 which I saw at "The Cheetah", try to guess what kind of establishment that was. |

| We need another Tyson so people will get excited about boxing again. I hate to use Tyson as an example since im a Tyson fan and may be biased, but honestly i believe he brought the most excitement and attention to the sport than anyone since Ali. |

| De La Hoya has been the closest thing if you think in terms of "household names" in boxing. Ali, Tyson and maybe De La Hoya. Now that his career is on it's downswing, it's anyones guess as to who the next big "star" will be to bring boxing out of the shadows of the other sports. |
