| I had the chance to talk to scraps recently. From what I heard, he is feeling tightness in the legs. You know, one of my colleagues said dairyland donkeyball is considering releasing him for the zoo. On of the good coaches said scraps wasn't coordinating his four legs when he drives to the basket. I tried to talk to scraps about this, but all I get is the finger. | I realize this is all for fun, but there's little humor in the reality of donkey basketball, where the frightened, confused animals are trucked in often from long distances, their food and water are withheld so they don't have "accidents", then children with no animal handling experience yank and pull them around. Some donkeys and some kids are injured every year. It really needs to stop and making light of it might garner intrest instead of promoting the halting of this cruel pastime. Thanks. |

| Yes, but rookies simply have to pay their dues like everyone else. It's the big players like Scraps, who have proven themselves on the court, who get all the perks--massage therapy sessions, personal psychologists, and success coaches. If we give those perks indiscriminately to all the players, then there just isn't the same motivation to be the best. |
