I have this piece on a "Solo Harp" CD. When I listen to it, I focus on the harmonious and peaceful potential of nature. I realize that in reality nature can be violent and dangerous. But again, this piece invites the listener to focus on the moments of serene beauty that are part of nature as well. At least this is what the music does for me.

This is a most beautiful piece of music and one that I have found bloody difficult to learn on the piano. It sounds simple, but it isn't. There is a real elegance to the composition and you play it very well.

Simply stunning. We watched The Painted Veil last night and it has the other famous Satie song. I'd love to learn this melody but it's hard. Does anyoneknow of an easy version.
