Thanks, Pete! Followed a link from dphotojournal to get here. I've been meaning to try this, but with a cut-up PTFE milk bottle and a few staples. I really like the elastic band for attachment. I'll be keeping all your great tips in mind!

Great video. You can find the foam at Walmart or Michaels craft store. Less than a dollar for a large sheet that you could easily make a couple of the bounce cards.

thank you for the advice!!!! again what is the material you used to bounce the flash? I couldn't understand, I know is inkjet paper, but what kind? Again I have to thank you because I won't spend 50 bucks for that sphere diffuser anymore:)

What a great bunch of advice and helpful info. Unfortunately, I do not have a flexible flash like yours. Only the built in on my D70 and a detachable which doesn't move at all. :(

Thanks Peter... I just got myself a 2nd hand 550EX and was wondering how to get it to diffuse just right. Watched your video and am going to go straight out to get some photo paper and a big rubber band. Shame we don't get that sponge paper here in Singapore, but I'm sure I'll make do with photo paper. Thanks for sharing the fantastic tips. My thanks from over this side of the world.
