ok smuggley, i'm going to try and explain why, and I dont hate you, never will, but i gotta explain. for example when it cuts to the song in between the interview, one line says, "you don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows." and thats as simple as it gets, when the wind is blowing, i'm pretty sure you can tell which way its coming from, a weather man is just here to help you be better prepared, but people over time have forgotten tha.

and how in the world do you know what he will say? know one does, that what makes him so great, is you don't know, he would be boring if you knew what he would say all the time, just like life, you don't know what will happen. And he's not a genious for the fact of just wanting to write the songs to just to write them, its the simple messages, but yet hard and truthful messages that he puts in them that makes him a genious (i.e. vision music).

he's different than almost all the mainstream pop artists at his time and now because his views of the world were so truthful and helpful and he happened to put them in songs and sell them. He went electric because, well, pretty much he wanted to. simple as that.
What a lot of people don't get is that there are so many people who think like bob dylan. At the time nobody was speaking up so he felt like he should. Who cares of how "hot" you are anyways
