| Jimmy will be back in Tokyo in late August early September. I CANT wait! His phrasing...space....time....and most importantly his soul/passion just knock me out. Heard/saw him at the Blue Note in tokyo last year...looked around the room...everyone was in tears...it was magical...it was heavy....Jimmy brought shit that was soooo real into the room, it just broke everybody down. |

| Its a shame. In america, we never see truly great artists like Mr. Scott. They are always touring overseas. Other artists do that too. I always wanted to see Anita O'Day too, but she was always singing in Europe or Japan. We get short changed here. Always. |

| oe thh wow, i was at this show in the park under the stars, hadn't seen him since la in 2002, the voice was still magic, took him a long while to warm uo though, he couldn't stand anymore, but the night still moved me, as every jimmy scott performance does, talked to the band after, they said he was living in vegas now and would be doing shows around, haven't heard about anything though, he seems in no condition to tour or barely play, probably the best singer i,ve ever seen live. |
