No, you are wrong about that. Madonna asked Lenny Kravitz to write a song for her. Lenny Kravitz wrote the song without telling anyone including Madonna he sampled Public Enemy. When Madonna found out, she was furious. Because she and Public Enemy were good friends, PE never sued Madonna and Lenny Kravitz. Kravitz had to apologize. Madonna had nothing to do with the sampling.
