I am Aussie, in 1985/85 (long time ago)I hitch-hiked around outback Australia. At the very moment I returned to Sydney I got so drunk, walked into a movie theatre and watched this movie with no idea wot it was about. It blew my mind. I still hold a torch for this movie!!!

This really is not only a "CULT CLASSIC" but a true classic as well. At 7:12 Johnies gun fail to "barrel flip" and break more glass from the rear window. Small "suspension of reality".

Grissom drove the **** out of the car! (Although if you wanted to shorten the vid, you couldve removed the opener and gone straight to the chase)
Fun fact: The briefcase wasnt supposed to open when he was banging it against the column; Petersen broke it open by the impact he was making, but the actors played it off and kept going.

A good story- John Pankow ran into a real life cop when he was a bar, and the two started talking about the chase scene. The cop told him that he had been in a chase, and he told Pankow that his reactions wer exactly what the cop felt and looked like during the real chase.

this reminds me of a joke i heard,an old woman called her husband on his cell phone while he was in his car,on his way home from work and she said honey,be carefull i heard on the news,that,there`s a car driving in the wrong direction on the freeway,he said thats strange,i`m on the freeway and everybodys` driving in the wrong direction. bah dump bump!
