Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation (WRR) provides rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orphaned, injured, and displaced wildlife, and provides sanctuary with dignity for non-releasable and non-native wild animals.
WRR was founded in 1977 in San Antonio, Texas, by Lynn Cuny, and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1978. Since Spring 2004, WRR has been located at a new 187-acre facility in Kendalia, Texas. WRR serves the cities of San Antonio, Austin, and all surrounding counties, as well as the ent

I'm 14 and I really want to be a wildlife rehabilitator. I know it will be a rough road, but it will be worth it. Releasing animals back to the wild must be so rewarding.

I love what they do. They've helped my family to rescue so many animals that would've died otherwise. In fact, this morning they rescued a cat that my boyfriend had found that was stuck in a car belt. they had to amputate it's leg, but they managed to save it. :]
