Creationists are their own worst enemy... This must be a joke of some sort, but no matter it's not funny.
One thing that ... ( 3 weeks ago by iNick3)
One thing that these creationist groups always seem to get wrong is that "there is no known mechanism by which evolution can increase genetic information." Not true. Sometimes a gene can be duplicated by accident. If this happens the organism will have two of the same gene. Because they only need one copy the other copy is free to mutate into something else, thus causing evolution to occur. Because the organism now has one extra gene than it had before, its genetic information has increased.

to any smart creationist out there. can someone mathematically prove how noah and his family created the rest of the human race after the flood? and for that matter every species of animals after the flood? please calculate how the breeding pattern occured and then how his offspring decided to become asian or african or even white?

LOL! 1. Most modern computers compose it's digital media in 8 bit clusters, called a byte. Multiple bytes create integers based on there bit counts. So if given enough bytes in that sim and enough time, it COULD create a 3D model of Lora Croft or Windows XP. Trouble is the environment portion of the sim is too simple (like changing the color to red), as these things would require advanced environment for that to happen, such as a 3D engine or a more direct access to the CPU. ;)

shadow, the words 'smart' and 'creationist' should never be contained in the same sentace!! shame on you :o)
yep, he missed the ... ( 3 weeks ago by SnakeyEyesIsGOD)
yep, he missed the point, if you breed labradors for 100 years, yes, you will still get labradors, but those ancestors will still have mutations from the origional stock, but those mutations will not yet be enought to change the characteristics of that animal within that time period
You cannot compare ... ( 2 weeks ago by DiggityDogg56)
You cannot compare DNA to computer programs. Change a bit and the whole program will probably crash. But as Elsberry says in "Meyers Hopeless Monster": "proteins can lose 80% or more of their sequence similarity and retain the same structure and function " And their is no selective adapation of change in a computer program. If a program had this selective adaptation of change along with functions that can change upwards of 80% of its code and still maintain viability it might well evolve.
And you seem to ... ( 2 weeks ago by DiggityDogg56)
And you seem to have mixed up the simulation program itself with the code used to write the progam. The mechanism of selective adaptation of variation does not change or mutate, the participants in it's framework do, so the program code is assumed not to change. The virtual specimens are assumed to change.

same old tired and unfounded arguments. if your going to spread falsities, at least make them new and exciting
we are so sorry ... ( 2 weeks ago by caveantnumeri)
we are so sorry that an 8 bit example doesn't match up to the full complexity and possibilities that exist with real DNA and mutations so sorry... just so sorry...

The Labrador part ... ( 1 week ago by A9SecondSleeper)
The Labrador part doesn't make any sense. Humans already bred the wolves together for a hundred years to get Labradors. That was human intervention. What does it really prove if you try to breed more Labradors together? You might get really small Labradors or really big Labradors, if that's what you're going for. But hey, isn't that an example of evolution too?
Also, the 8-bit ... ( 1 week ago by A9SecondSleeper)
Also, the 8-bit example is an analog to the human genome. It's NOT the human genome. If someone has a problem with the 8-bit example not perfectly replicating the human genome, that person should not automatically disregard the results. That person should strive to fully understand the full genome and how every variation changes the whole so that he or she can make an ACCURATE program to prove or disprove the 8-bit example! How do you know if its false if you have no proof?
if you breed two ... ( 1 week ago by eamomc18)
if you breed two thoroughbred labradors for a hundred years you will probably end up with...two dead labradors? the 8-bit example is a simplified version of the human genome,as said by A9SecondSleeper, to try and explain evolution to creationists. based on this video that isnt informed at ALL i would say that they didnt quite understand....
