.. And for all that don't know they used to make 12 inch (33 and 1/3 rpm record) size versions of most 7-inch (45 rpm record) pop songs for DJ's to play at parties and as well as to promote the song and keep it sounding new and different.. (So it would stay a hit longer) Most people now a days have no clue about that tactic used back then..

I think the longer version of the song was probably a 12-inch extended record version...
And since noone seams to know what a remix or extended version is anymore it's going to be really tough to find it. It took me 8 years to find a used 12 inch remix copy of two of hearts by stacy Q.. lol

Concerning the song specifically -- what I like best about it is the fact that this is (I believe) the original version, with a second one (more?) that came out later and largely supplanted this one. When it came out in 1985, a buddy of mine and I thought the narrator (who, I see from another comment, is suspected to be Penn Gillette) sounded EXACTLY like one of our coworkers (of course we knew it wasn't REALLY him). To this day, I picture the guy during the narration.
