I see that soviet union was the champion at missing unbelievable goals. No wonder they didnt won any competition in this time. The euro 88 final was another missed goals festival.

If they miss so many opportunities, this indicates that they do not have good players individually, who can handle ball and pressure in a very short time, and capitalize the opportunity. They have good players as a team though.
