851 RWHP Twin Turbo 2004 Cobra built and tuned by www.precision-autospots.com. Car is daily driven.
Owner reports getting 25 MPG still on the highway. No new track times and owner has no plans to take back to the track. After all, this is his beater ;) 2-24-08 // Car now makes over 925 RWHP on pump gas. Owner called Precision the other day to say he handed a ZX-14 its ass from a roll. And
it was only set to about 850 rwhp he said. Amazing car! Now about the track times. Look, the owner had just spent a fair amount of money and these were the only runs he made ever with the car and quite honestly, he did want to break anything. Ford built a great driveline, but more than doubling
the power output tends to make you carefull with your car. He was not going for anything steller, just a time. The mid 11 sec pass was on about 675 rwhp setting. The owner used to have a 8 sec. turbo Fox body, so he is not an idiot when it comes to fast cars. I have seen stockish Cobras grenade
their IRS at a track so to call this guy an idiot, or rag on the shop for protecting his high HP's stock rearend and tranny just really is not fair.

Thanks. and regardless of what these ricers say, thats a beauty. and one hell of a runner. the vids of the quarter mile dont do it justice. I drive a mineral grey terminator, all stock save for a CAI, and that car is pretty fast. I can only imagine this beast. 60-120mph would be like a blackout lol. I understand why he wouldnt launch hard, I dont even and i am at half his HP. wheel hop sucks and so does spinning. Great job on the vid man. kudos.

it feels quicker becasuse boost is instntaneous with the kenne. turbos are more peaky and usually dont have the low end like kenne does...but trust me once the boost kicks in (turbo) its by far a bigger throw into the seat compared to the kenne

theres no way in hell it ran an 11.93 with 700+ rwhp my fox body has about 500 to the wheels give or take 20hp but still i ran an 11.21 at milan dragway in michigan.. i mean its a possibility but only if this guy it playing with playdo while trying to shift but either way the dude needs to learn to drive..

that's a low 10, high 9 second car with the bigger turbo's they showed at the end, on pump gas. Although I think he's gonna need a built auto, even the times he can in the video could have been much better with an auto, just too much power for a manual.
But it's a daily driver, he may want to keep the 6 speed, lots more fun, and since it's a daily driver, the auto would ruin the fun factor on the street. Very nice car man. I have a stock 04 Cobra,the cars are great, bullet proof bottom ends!!

arrghhh-i want an 03/04 cobra so bad-i had a 92 fox that started my obsession, now im looking at the terminator. i hear these cars are great if your looking for a sturdy base to build on, this being reinforced if the car pictured is stock besides the turbo kit.nice ride!!!!

Cobras have IRS though, not a live axle, makes hop a real bad problem and traction is another. He could swap it to a built solid axle or buld up the IRS and dump at 5000 rpm ... that might help :) in all reality this car is probably better on the street then the track.

Yeah he could get a twin-disk and it would hold the power just fine. :) I don't think its the shifting so much as the independent rear suspension for his "slow" times.

Not to knock the Cobra, and I love the '03 Cobra, but check out a naturally aspirated '78 4000# Caddy Coupe with a Cad 500 that makes about 600 bhp and runs 10.47 that was in the Milan Michigan episode of Pinks! All Out...The car was running low 10's on the Cad engine before it was switched with a BBC.

not trying to hate that stang is a beast and gorgeous at that but how did it only run 11.44 making 735 rwhp? it only trapped 135 i think i saw, traction problems? i just know of plenty 600+ hp cars into the 10's and trapping higher

Very sweet Cobra! I read the long desc. does the owner plan on beefing up the IRS? I know he spent alot but personally I would soon. Even if he eases into it it still puts a sh*load of powa down! :) Very nice!

his car was sliping like hell look at his last run u can see and here it sliping like crazy from 1st 2nd and going into 3rd he has all that power and no traction at all but its a very nice cobra
