| I remember how alien and weird Warhol seemed in the 60's.He's fairly tame by todays standards,but he was light years ahead of the times back then.Its hard to convey the impact some of these cats had. |

| Andy did much more than just hold the baby seal, let me tell you. Sometimes, he would have it wear his mod wig, sometimes he would place a paintbrush in his bum, and I think Andy really grew to the love the baby seal - who he named Phil - and was very sad the day phil got out of the factory and was run over by a bicycle messenger boy from Coney Island. |

| actually, I believe you can read about Phil the Seal in the Andy Warhol Diaries. Phil the Seal was such a pleasant little thing - everybody loved him. In fact, the musical artist 'Seal' named himself after Andy Warhol's pet seal, Phil. So, you should really know more about Warhol, the Velvets, music and art in general before you come on here and embarrass yourself the way you have been doing, livebabylive15. |

| When you think about it, this was 1965 when it all started. That was before the whole "Love Revolution" began in America. So, when you look at Andy's art and the Velvets music openly talking about heroin usage it was probably very hard for 99.9% of Americans at that time to swallow. |
