Interesting what he says about how the anti-war movement couldn't keep up with the facts. There always ends up being one line being touted. This happened with Iraq. The only thing that would stop a war is a large scale industrial strike, not a demonstration, the scale of the latter never has decisive effect.

how would a demonstration stop a war, it might help make it unpopular. Again there has lots of demonstrations against Iraq but it hasn't stopped the war from continuing. The same was true of Vietnam. A demonstration doesnn't exert any direct on power. It might make them think twice, but that is about it.
