Dude. English is not her first language. The sound is completely different when she sings in Ukrainian. Besides the sound quality of this video is not that great (no offense to the person who posted it).

Actually i thaught about this, but in my opinion it has more persian theme in it, or something from that area. As i have crude understanding in Ukrainian (since my Russian descendancy) i can say that this song is actually very far away from war theme. One interesting fact also. Even realiseing that my understanding in english is quite good, while enjoying the song. i allmost didn't understood a shit what she was singing. her accent actually IS awful, but song and stuff, these tings are good :)

Well, asabis, why don't you write a "real song" and sing it better than Ruslana sang "Wild Dances"? Or just post a video where you sing "Wild Dances" better that Ruslana. Until that your criticism costs NOTHING.

Since when do songs for the Eurovision Song Contest have a point? Remember that in 1984, Sweden won with 'Diggi-loo, diggi-ley' performed by three cute boys, whereas the gorgeous song from Italy, 'I treni di Tozeur' only scored fifth place. Other than that, there are very few people who can dance like that *and* keep singing well. She pulls it off.
