State of the Union Response

This is a response to the state of the union address President George W. Bush gave on January 28th.
I might not agree on the percentages and some of what President Bush said but I definitely believe he is listening to Americans. President Bush spent the beginning of his speech talking about what is important issues to Americans: Economic Issues, Budget, Tax Reform, Social Security, Poverty, International Issues: Trade, Immigration, Energy, Domestic Issues: Jobs, Environment: Global Warming, education and health care. He did spend almost 40% on the military but it was in the middle of his speech. He also presented honest facts. Towards the end he spent almost 10% on gratitude and charities. He said: "Our Military families serve our Nation, they inspire our Nation and tonight our Nation honors them". He thanked Americans. He used the word Hope/Hopeful 13 times and the word evil only once and did not once use the word: FEAR, which was used at least once in every State of the Union since 2002. Words have their own frequency and should be chosen carefully. I am excited, because I am fueled with Hope not fear AND my video was featured #1 on YOUTUBE. Good Job President Bush I welcome the change.

| i really don't know how to feel about this video. first off, i can't tell if you are being serious. i think it's the extreme giddyness while you talk about simple words that he has spoken hundreds of times over and over and over. second, since when is honoring the troops a new subject? he has taped into that continuously since the war. tell us how YOU feel man! |
