My family, before I was born, attended the "Dedication of the Unknown Soldier of World War II" on Memorial Day Weekend in May of 1959 and were close enough to show up on National Archives film and photos with Admiral Morrison's family who came from Alexandria, Va.
Pfc. George B. Turner was a pallbearer for the "Unknown Soldier", from my Father's Unit - the 14th Armored Division. Turner received the Medal of Honor. Dan K., Grafton, Ma.

Actually they are fighting for our freedome, in a figuritive way of speaking. Right now in Iraq we are fighting to spread Democracy and attempt to put an end to Tyranny over there. So in a way our cause is a righteous one.

Actually that is a misconception about the oil. Why would we go ovr there and wage a multi billion dollar war, when we don't even get oil from the mid east. We harvest 40% of our oil supply from our own land "The United States". Then we get about 40% from Canada and Mexico, the rest of the twenty % comes from S. Africa and Venesaula. Where do you get off saying Americans are trained lab mice? Second there's no need to fight our gov't. They arn't systamatically killing us.

Now I'll agree with you this war wasn't a necessary one and that is what many people's problems are. The funny thing is people are saying we don't need a policeman of the world however if we had, had one in the 1930s WWII would've been avoided. We did have a reason to go into Iraq, however that reason was based off of faulty information that at the time was thought to be true. Now it's not.
