dont get me wrong, motorhead is amazing, but they sucked at Maetal Masters tour, i couldnt hear anything specifically, it was all just jumbled up

That was probably the fault of whoever set up the soundsystem, or possibly the hardware. Apparently DragonForce are awfull in large concerts like festivals because the hardware required to get the sound out to that many people just can't cope with the speed. Now, Mot
örhead aren't nearly as fast as DF but it could easily have been the sound systems fault that they were not so good. I meen their curent studio albums are just as fast and still sound great

No he isn't. He can no longer hit the high notes and now sounds like a gremlin especially when he tries to sing "Painkiller" live. Don't believe me? Look it up on here. Ripper Owens is the singer Rob Halford wishes he still was.

Judas Priest isn`t the same band without Halford.... So what if he can`t hit high notes? He is still a legend and soul of Priest... And doesn`t matter how good Ripper is, albums with him are just boring and not original...

No, he doesn't. Seriously, watch any clips from their latest tour and you will see his voice is shot. I'd rather see a band with a singer that can pull off the material live. Rob Halford can't do that anymore.

He is still better than half of this so-called singers.... And he is great on that latest material And if Priest ever comes to my country (they canceled the concert this summer) I would go just to see them live... I wanna see HALFORD not some kid who just finished high school...

I saw them early this year in a small Venue in Melbourne (aus) called the Forum (an old theatre but they serve drinks ... expensive ones) and the sound was fantastic .... very loud .... I was never a big fan of motoread until that gig but they really blew me away. Bad sound can really destroy a show. I had been waiting years to see Maiden again (big fan) and saw them at a large venue and the sound was crap. Destroyed it. They got it right the next night but that didn't help me.

I agree, no high scholl kids for me. I saw them a few weeks ago (Melbourne AUS) and his voice is still good. Highlights for me were "Hell Bent for Leather" (sung on a huge motorbike), "Green Menalishi", "Painkiller" (and yes he pulled it off), "Electric Eye" and a pretty outrageous jacket he wore for the oncore. They were better than I thought they would be and much better than Maiden who toured aus a few months before that.
