Short film documenting the lethal effects of the use of cluster munitions worldwide, with commentary, new statistics and analysis from military experts at Human Rights Watch. Footage shows how cluster munitions have endangered civilian populations from the Vietnam era through current conflicts in Iraq and Lebanon. During the last THREE DAYS of the War on Lebanon, Israel fired up to 4,000,000 cluster bomblets according to UN estimates - twice the amount used by the US in the attack on Iraq in 2003.

The United States used them against Iraqi tanks in massive formations. They didn't drop them on civilian, nor did they use them against insurgents near civilians. Of course you all hate the military and think it is out to get civilians. No. They go to great lengths to prevent civilian casualties.

Seems like the solution here is to build better cluster bombs. 30-40%? I realize a film like this isn't likely to tell the entire truth if it is detrimental to their message, but IF that's true then they need some better quality control.

It is true that cluster bombs killed civilians, but people now have developed smart cluster bombs which will target only enemies, stopping civilians from getting killed.
