He actually could kill himself if he misses if he shoots too far off the ledge while using it but other than that, Marth has the best power for FS in the game because it is a direct hit rather than a glancing hit.

Technically Olimars is the BEST final smash since there's no way to escape from it. All the others can be dodged. Marth's is the most powerful and is a guranteed kill but he can kill himself with it if not done right. My personal favorite is Links
