This actually works in a kinda strange way! It takes some talent to convert a grunge rock piece into a swing number. If anyone can do it, it's gotta be Mr. Anka! And no, it wasn't supposed to sound anything like Cobain's version. Besides, Mr. Anka tends to bridge gaps between different styles rather than copying them directly. Now little old grannies can listen to a Nirvana tune without having a heart attack!

What a horrible thing to say. It's unfortunate that Kurt Cobain is dead, and I seriously doubt that Paul Anka himself would claim that his version of this song is better than the original. It's cool, and fun to watch, but it's not better.
