That opening sequence "HBO In Space" would get me to watch at least the title card, the opening credit sequence, and probably even get me to watch 10 minutes of a flick. If it's stupid, I'd move on. If it's good, I'll watch it all the way through. Point is, I WATCHED. |

| I actually kinda like this opening. I think it looks better than the neon look they used in the 90's. It reminds me of the logo sequences they're using in the movie theaters nowadays. I would say it looks great but it's nothing we haven't seen before. And none of the others are as memorable as "HBO in Space/Starship HBO" (visually and musically). So did Ferdinand J. Smith write the score for this sequence as well? |

| recently an HD version of the intro was made as of this year. Is there also an hd version of the extended version? Now that HBO shows its promos in HD, more people can watch it in HD. Too bad Real Sports and Inside the NFL are still in SD. |
