you guys can obviously play your instruments. but you butchered this song. all the funky eddie van halen guitar stuff was not ment for this song. whats up with smoke on the water riffs in a free song? where was the bass solo? it looked like the guitar players were too busy showing off. although you guys can play i didnt like this versin of the song.. just my opinion

Please, don't kill me, I understand you don't like this version because you love the original version but... people likes this version, someone more than original.. are only opinions.
I love Deep purple and their improvisation so when I play (I'm the guy with the DP sweater) I like be free to play how I feel. Sorry if you don't like this version :-( ... please don't kill me! Bye bye.

tis alright, maybe a tad too much guitar at points (especially when you both go for it) but still its a bands cover thats never to be exact to the original :-)

guys did a pretty decent job on this....i've been in several bands and i was in one band that covered this song and i'm a drummer....so please accept this as positive criticism...the drummer needs to lay that groove down in the pocket instead of playing funk like he tends to do in this video.

also i would be careful about van halenizing the heck out of this. too many riffs will ruin any song. riffs are like seasoning...too much and the lasagna is ruined. oh...and the drummer needs to really lock that tempo during the guitar solo. overall pretty decent job

I love Free and think these guys are very talented. I appreciate somebody taking some creative interpretation. . .although I would have to agree that the there are too many Halenized (new word) guitar riffs. Thanks for the post!
