Yeah check it out,cause there are quite a bit of tunes where they play jazzy solos,and where are jazz chords involved and jazz progressions! Figure yourself better,and you'll see in songs!
They could play perfectly jazz,even though their main genre wasn't jazz at all!

I didn't say that they were jazz players,they were guitar gods and versatile players! I say it cause they could play and mix many styles,play any way they wanted,and produce many different sounds and tones!
And yes,for the 100th time,SRV and Hendrix could play jazz very good,knowing that their main genre wasn't jazz,but go through their albums,songs,even this song has jazz in it,showcase that Stevie could play jazz,as Stevie's brother said,"Stevie could play and blues,jazz rock and roll"!
