Dave and Kaki I have to say that I hopefully speak on behalf of the Australian community when I say thank you for this song! The two boys trapped in that mine wanted to here nothing but Foo fighters while they where trapped and you guys got em through! Cheers to you and people like you!!! I've never really liked the foo fighters that much, but this was awesome. Idk, anything with Kaki King is the shit. I saw her live about 5 years ago opening for Soulive and she was amazing. I bought her CD at the show because i didn't think i would be able to get it after that. Of course now she's become pretty well known but hopefully she will come back to charlottesville.

Odds are really good that the questions were written before hand (they met before they got on stage) and he was asking them to introduce her to the audience. Dave's a musician, and Kaki is a little obscure. Quite possibly many people in his audience weren't familiar with her talent, and he laid the groundwork for them to find out more about her and her amazing talent.
Hardly a douche.
