The UNKNOWN? No my friend, I have many people I know who live in LA...I have lived in Arizona, Northern California, New York and Italy....FAR from ethnocentric..I see others peoples views easily. The problem is there is NOTHING unknown about LA. Thats the problem with that city...there is nothing unknown nor unique. Its buildings are boring in architecture, its art is mundane in beauty, its people are plastic in personality, and its air is polluted in quality. The city as a whole...is FAKE.

I have had mexican food in Mexico, LA, Arizona, and New Mexico. And there is NO such thing as fancy mexican food. As for Europe..you may want to visit there..you'll see a culture that knows and respects it past and has a mass transit system, telephone system, and infrastructure that is years ahead of Americas. Lets see you get on a high speed rail car in LA and go to another city. As fo art, art is timless and is not centered in any century. Go to the Gugenheim in NY or the Uffizi in Florence
