in no other industrial country in the world can a working person lose their home and all their savings due to a medical catastrophe. The Republicans then ensured this person cannot be protected by bankruptcy now either. Bush and his cronies have ruined this country..paid off by the insurance, drug oil companies--and most Americans are too stupid to realize they have given away all of their rights under the Constitution to the "Decider"..YIKES!

Michael Moore is a communist he and Clinton won't be happy until they have all of our money and we depend totally on the government services THEY want to control. If you want good health care get off your lazy butt and earn it! If you want everything provided by your government then move to a one of the socialistic countries Michael loves so much or simply join the military.

This comment is pretty stupid. In the whole Europe exists free health care system. I know it, I live there. And it works perfectly. What about police, firefighters, schools? they are for free, and you dont doubt about it. I am always amazed why you americans dont fight for those kind of universal rights, like free education (also universitys) and health care system. But your problem, not mine.

people are so friggin worried about taxes because of two deeper problems that Mr. Moore's film addressed head-on: (1) me, me, me, me, me, me, i, me, mine, mine., and (2) a fundamental distrust of government. Wake up, people. Extricating ourselves from the constraints of (1) ultimately leads to a amelioration of (2) and out of pointless wars. With all the money we've spent in Iraq, we could have set up universal healthcare in 5 countries.

Just who pays for the "Free Clinic"?Where do you get a building,docs,nurses,medical equipment,supplies and medications for free ?Magical thinking .Not much of a solution,pretty flippant. Moore thinks respecting others' freedom means refusing to help the less fortunate. But where's the connection? All it means is that the libertarian refuses to sanction the use of physical force (government) to help others. Private charity helps the needy far better than government does. One problem I have with a UHC system in the USA is the US Government, which cannot run any social program right. VA, Medicare and the Indian Health Services all have horror stories that your SICKO HMO stories pale in comparison. Here is a idea for you next film, social security. We paying 600 Billion that is going bankrupt, explain that to me.

Hellotimetogo, I would like to be hospitalized in France which has the gold standard. If you saw the film, you'd know how we compare to other countries in terms of health care. PS: We ALL have or will have health issues no matter what you do - just breathing the polluted air of some areas can do it. Accident, genes, age, etc. Get the picture - you may not be fat but you sure as hell are vulnerable. Lose the denial.
