"On November 8th, during their Brand new Chaos act 2 tour, the news that no one wanted to believe comes: Luna Sea splits." Simply because the band members specifically refuse to use the word "split" doesn't change the fact that the article states they have. Does the term "dropping the curtain" not imply the show is over? The "curtain" may very well be raised again, but that doesn't change mean the band isn't considered as "disbanded". It's not entirely uncommon for band members to rejoin either

Well, I just think that in this case Luna Sea knows the situation better than us, and if they said that band didn't split I believe them. But if you knows this matter better than them I have nothing to add.

Every article and source I can possibly find about the band lists them as disbanded. You'd think they would correct this, but apparently they haven't. I'm sure you realize words and phrases can have multiple meanings.

The band OBVIOUSLY knows better. The band did not specifically declare that they had split, but they made no mention that their little reunion wasn't temporary either. It ultimately narrows down to semantics, as it's simply YOUR interpretation that "dropping the curtain" does not correspond to "disbanded", however temporary the period that follows may be. Like I made note of before, I can't find any information online that proves otherwise.

Sorry to interrupt,but I just want to add,every Luna Sea member did and still does use word "shumaku(drop curtain)" in every interview with them (even you can see in Luna Sea One Night Dejavu video document,you can find the vids in youtube too),they never use word "kaisan".The reason because people use disbanded,because it is the easiest and general translation in english if one band got separated,that's all^^
