I've heard that about him. The brother of one of my friends was in his band at one time. Don't think he plays with him any more though. Anyhow he used to tell stories about John. But he is a very talented singer. he puts on an awesome show. I've gone twice to see him. I've seen him a time or two just out in public, once at College Mall and another time at a park in Bloomington with his kids. Kinda strange to see a "celebrity" just walking around southern Indiana!
