the E63 amg most bee were qvick in the start. i saw a video it
´s beat the bmw m5 2006 in the start, and that suprised me becose the BENZ have an automatic gearbox :D but i not suprised that it win over the bmw after that. but iam still surprised that the e55 not losing something in the faster speed too the e63:P Someone how now the times 0-200 km/h the e63 am

automatics aren't what they used to be.
The manual 911 turbo is slower than the automatic for instance.

Because the auto can power brake which allows it to build up boost. It is only quicker off the line.

Thats not too big of a win, rt and driver ability (read 60' time) could be playing a big role. Like the guy said, the 55 spun in the video. . . its a driver's race.

A 2007 bmw faster than E55 Amg not than E63Amg. For 2007 M5 0-100 h/km 4.8 sec. for E63 Amg 4.6 sec.

i agree the E63 is faster than the M5 from the low end but the M5 is faster in the top end...in terms of 0-60, E63 is faster by .1 seconds and from 0-100, M5 is faster by .1 so they're extremely close. AMGs are usually geared for off the line torque whereas the BMWs are geared for the higher rpms and speeds....both are AMAZING cars tho

hm ... so they really are equally fast - the 63 didn't pull away and the 55 had problems with the traction, which could have happend to the 63 as well. They both sound awesome - the 55k though does leave the bigger impression because of the howling supercharger, i simply love that noise :)

You are talking out of your ass! The M5 isn't running a quarter mile in 12.1, it isnt even in Corvette Z06 territory which is 12.5 secs with the right driver. The E63 is running the 1/4 in 12.6 so get your facts straight.

i think the e55 is a quicker take off with its supercharger though the e63 would prob win in a long run with its 6.3 liter engine
