This video is fantastic. I saw it for the first time in my Graphic Design class when my teacher was explaining the power and unharnessed potential of typography. I am inspired. The designer of this video deserves a huge HUZZAH, and the content has really impacted me. (It gave me goosebumps!) The video was informal enough to feel genuine, but formal enough to demand action. It also didn't attempt to tear out hearts and squeeze out sympathy, but instead sent an honest message of hope. Thanks.

Im sorry but how do you just fix the picture! you cant just take away HIV a husdand and a baby! and How come it goes from a village being excepting to the whole country being ecnomically stable and then cause off that the whole world is better it just does not make sense!The answer here is obviously fix the economy of the country first by some how getting rid off corrupt govenerment. And as for making the world a better place, well thats unacheivable due to alot of political and economic factors

I loved the idea of this video, but at the same time I doubt it's reality. In far too many countries, the girl with the cow would be raped by a group of men and her cow either slautered or taken away. Brings me back full circle....

Make me think of how they used to go to the men to try to help out when everyone was in poverty, only to find the men hoarding everything to get "favors" from women and gain status. Someone hit upon going to the women instead, and found that since women are the ones teaching the children, and who care about the children, they have real impact on what happens to them. Voila! Problem solved. Don't give to the men. They will just go for selfishness, almost every time. You know that's true!

Because girls are the ones that will grow up and teach the children most of the time, which is everyone in the next generation. They pass on their knowledge at the early age that really counts with about 40% of the population that doesn't change much once they get past early childhood. Teach the girls, and you teach everyone. Teach the boys, and you only teach those particular boys.

Why dont you educate your self. If it were that simple it would be done by now, but its not! if you belivie in this, why dont YOU go buy a few girls a cow, and yea maybe it will make there lives extremely better, but it isnt going to change the world, obviously this problem is complex and it's going to take a hell of a lot of time and money to get it fixed. So much money has gone into abolishing poverty, and it hasnt worked yet, so obviously its not a quick fix solution.
