Common is truly one of the best hip hop artist in the game. Research him from his "Can I borrow a Dollar" days in the 90s this guy has consistently put out creative, well constructed and lyrically dope songs. I don't think he sits in his right place among hip hop legends. he's def top 10 all time among HIP HOP artist not Rap artist there is a difference. Check him out for yourself his body of work is bananas and he did "I use to love H.E.R" which ranks among the top three hip hop songs ever
